Real-World Experience Behind Every Class
Strongpoint Defensive Solutions & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is led by Professor Clayton Potter — a BJJ Black Belt under Logan Griffin with a career spanning 23 years in the United States Marine Corps Infantry, 10 years in law enforcement, and 8 years in Fire and EMS.
Throughout his career, Clayton led and trained personnel in high-risk, high-liability settings, developing expertise in threat assessment, risk mitigation, use-of-force decision-making, and coordinated emergency response. He also holds a Master's Degree in K-12 Physical Education Teaching from Tusculum University, bringing a deep understanding of how to teach movement, technique, and physical development to students of all ages.
Today, Strongpoint offers professional security consultations, risk assessments, and preparedness planning alongside Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and defensive training for individuals and organizations. Every program is grounded in professionalism, realism, and ethical instruction.
